Chandelier sale on tv
Interior design has become very popular over the last 15 years, with television aiming to make this once mundane necessary task into something which would be considered fun. One of the most popular television programmes of the 1990’s was Changing Rooms, starring people such as Linda Barker (who now has a collection of sofa’s with a big chain store), and Laurence Llewellyn Bowen (radio presenter and tv presenter), who became household names, and everyone wanted them to come round to decorate a room in their house. Unfortunately, these rooms were usually rushed, and the designers tended not to listen to what anyone had got to say. For example, every couple that starred on the show had swapped their house with a neighbours or friends, they had inside information about what the friends wouldn’t like in their home. So if they told Linda or Laurence that their friends would not like pink, then the room ended up being pink, even if it was the dining room. This tactic sometimes worked and the couple whose house it was , loved the finished result, but for others they would change the room as soon as the designers and the programme had finished.
Programmes did however progress and people such as Nick Knowles of DIY SOS were sent in to rescue people who had experienced bad DIY jobs. This programme is better as the room is done from top to bottom, with no expense spared. All of the rooms which are done by the team are accessorised to their fullest potential, and the designer makes sure that accessories such as cushions, curtains and sometimes chandelier (Kronleuchter) are all part of the design project.
As well as design programmes there are many advertisements on the television today which offer accessories for the home at low cost prices. Items such as crystal chandelier (Kristalllüster) can often be picked up on digital for a bargain price. There are dedicated shopping channels on digital television, and DIY programmes can be viewed again and again on certain channels. There are also many offers online, and people can expect to pick up many items online for a good price. It is often worth shopping around on the internet to compare prices.
